After a veritable drought of Meghan Markle sightings, we're all being blessed with the duchess's presence at the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany. And while we're all getting fed with all-white fits, polished black shirtdresses, and more couple-y moments than we can count between Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, People reports that she's been seen without one of her most beloved accessories: her engagement ring.

But don't fret, there isn't trouble in paradise or even anything close to it. Sources tell the publication that Meghan's ring is in for repairs, proving that even royals need to stay on top of things like making sure their jewelry is in tip-top shape. Apparently, the ring is currently being serviced "because a setting came loose."

The three-stone engagement ring is from Cleave & Company, which happens to be the late Queen Elizabeth's jeweler. The very sentimental piece famously includes a cushion-cut center diamond from Botswana — which is where Meghan and Harry spent time together early in their relationship — and two side stones from Princess Diana's collection.

"It's beautiful and he designed it. It's incredible," Meghan said of the ring during the couple's engagement interview back in November 2017.

People adds that the ring has been serviced in the past. In 2019, she upgraded the ring's gold band with a thin micro-pavé band. And even though that statement-making ring is MIA, Meghan has been wearing her Welsh gold wedding band. The royals have sourced gold from Wales for special pieces since the Queen Mother’s wedding in 1923. She is also wearing an eternity ring to the Games. That ring made its debut in 2019 at the Trooping the Colour. Royal fans believe the ring commemorates Harry and Meghan's first wedding anniversary and the arrival of their son, Archie Harrison.

Of course, it's not just sentimental jewelry that Meghan and Harry connect with the Invictus Games. They actually made their first public appearance as a couple at the 2017 games, which were held in Toronto, the provincial capital where Meghan was filming Suits at the time.
